Business Italian

All our teachers are fluent in English. While we aim to immerse you in Italian from the start, we understand that complex concepts sometimes need to be explained in English. Rest assured, our teachers will guide you and make sure you understand everything clearly. 

To ensure high-quality lessons, our basic online courses have 3-6 students per class, while our specialty online courses have 2-5 students. This small class size allows our teachers to provide personalized attention and thorough preparation for each student.

If you miss a class, don't worry. While we can't reschedule group classes for individual students, all our classes are recorded and stored securely. If you need a recording of a missed lesson, just send us a message, and we'll provide you with a private link to access it. The recordings are not shared with anyone else.

If the teacher is unable to hold a lesson, or there are technical issues beyond our control, the course will extend by one lesson. The missed lesson will be rescheduled for the same days and times as the original course schedule. For example, if your course was scheduled every Monday and Wednesday at 7 PM, and a Wednesday lesson is missed, it will be rescheduled for the following Monday at 7 PM

We use Google Meet or Tencent for our online lessons. Both platforms are user-friendly and do not require downloading. Simply click on the shared link to access the online lesson. 

You will receive a confirmation of payment. Three days before the course starts, you will receive an email containing two codes: one for platform registration and another for accessing the virtual classroom dedicated to your course. Additionally, you will receive a link that you simply need to open to access the virtual classroom for your first lesson.

You will access to a wide range of interactive digital materials designed for both classroom use and self-study. You can access interactive and digital textbooks, along with student workbooks containing exercises for each unit with self-correction features. For self-study, you'll find audio files, videos, games, e-books, and access to the virtual classroom created by the teacher. This virtual classroom allows you to access any extra materials or comments provided by the teacher and track your progress in real-time.

Access to the platform is provided for 30 to 50 hours (depending on the course) over a period of up to 18 months, which is usually ample time to complete your online group course. If you require additional access beyond the free hours included with your code, you can purchase more online (e.g., 20 hours for €2 or 50 hours for €5). 

You need an internet connection. You can access the platform from any computer, tablet (iPad, Android, or Windows) or smartphone. It doesn’t matter how big your screen is but you will need speakers or headphones. The platform is compatible with all versions of Windows and Mac operating systems.No additional software installation is required.

If the minimum number of students is not reached, here are your options:

• Change the course into a package of 10 individual lessons, each lasting 1 hour, at no additional cost. Please send us a message to arrange a free video meeting to discuss your specific needs for these individual lessons. 
• Keep calm and wait for the next scheduled start date for the course. We are confident that we will reach the minimum requirement of 3 students attending the course on the next available date.
• If none of these options suit you, contact us to receive a full refund.

When you contact us, please remember to provide your name, the group course you purchased, and the intended start date.

If you are unable to attend the online classes anymore, we regret to inform you that we are unable to refund the course fee. However, you will still have access to our platform and continue to receive feedback from the teacher regarding the assigned homework until the end of the course. Moreover, you can contact us to request recordings of the missed lessons, and we'll provide you with a private link to access them. Please note that these recordings are not shared with anyone else.

For all our online group courses, we follow a communicative approach that aims to explore practical and functional aspects of everyday life, while also introducing students to Italian society and culture. Of course, grammar will be covered, but our lessons will never be grammar centric as we believe grammar to be a tool, not the end goal of language learning.
